I've been looking around at subwoofers and a used B&W DB1 caught my eye.
I spoke to the seller and it seems the accessories (measurement microphone, USB dongles to connect the microphone and the sub, etc.) may not be available.
I know when it launched the first things mentioned in the reviews and the major hype about it was the automatic room correction system. I'm sort of thinking that a DB1 without the accessories isn't really worth it? It might still be a good subwoofer but it's main selling point is lost.
[An idea: I could try and make a deal with the seller to reduce the price a bit and use any saving to buy a UMIK-1 and then do my own measurements with REW and make my own corrections]
Other options I'm considering is something like an SVS SB-3000, which is a bit more expensive, but then has the benefit of being brand new so would hopefully last a long time, etc.
