I paid my local AV boutique a vist this afternoon. I went to take a look at a colourimeter I was considering purchasing but decided against it. Not being able to leave without picking up a little something I decided I'd picked up a set of these http://www.valhalla-technology.dk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=20&category_id=10&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26

Not that I've had any real complaints from the neighbours but with my wooden floors I have been concerned out the vibration giving the downstairs neighbour headaches. I screwed off my subs rounded rubber "spikes" and applied the foam pads. Wow, what a difference! I'm sure it will help for bass travelling through the floor but the difference to the bass quality is such a welcome surprise.

If anyones has been considering something like this for their sub and wasn't sure if it would really offer much benefit, really it's a blatantly obvious improvement. Very chuffed!
