Good day all,

I am trying to understand my system a bit beter and looking at influences an active subwoofer(s) has on a system overall.

Consider the following scenerio:
AVR - Onkyo RZ50 (125 W / channel two channels driven)
2 x FS speakers 200 W normimal
2 x 400W Active subwoofers

Obviously, there appears to be some sort of miss match between what the speakers are capable of and what the amplifier can deliver. My question in this case is - once you add subwoofers to the system and set the crossover frequency on the AVR to something like 80hz, how does that change the maximum power draw of the speakers since the lowest frequencies are now being handled by subwoofers?
Are these speakers still capable of drawing 200W (assuming it was connected to an amp that can provide it)?
If not is there a method to calculate how much a speaker will draw at max from the amp?
How much headroom will the subwoofers provide the AVR's amplifier to increase dynamic range capabilities?

Thanks
