Subwoofer: SVS SB13 Ultra vs B&W DB1

I have been thinking about importing a SVS SB13 sub. These subs get rave reviews.
I saw yesterday, that someone is selling a B&W DB1. I looked online, and it too gets rave reviews.
Now both subs are rated at 1000W rms. The SVS has a single 13.5" driver, while the B&W uses 2 12" drivers.
So how do the subs compare.
