If there is one component I have not yet had the pleasure of hearing and experimenting with, it is a quality phono stage that will be a significant improvement over the in-built phono stages on integrated amplifiers and without breaking the bank.
Is there anything in the +/- R3k range (new or second hand) that would fit the bill, or is that simply unrealistic?
