Quick build thread on my 4 super chunks bass traps. Been meaning to get to these for months and eventually got around to starting it this weekend.
I plan on treating my two rear corners as I don't have the ability to treat the front two. Once these are complete I will build several other treatments
and measure with REW as I go.
Firstly.... you really learn more from failure than success.
Lesson learned this time... If at all possible build a prototype and check everything before getting the assembly line running.
I did quite a bit of wood cutting before assembling one complete unit.
I cut my 12mm plywood into 8 triangles and although it works it would have been SOOO much better if they were bigger and I could screw them to the square frames
from the top instead of the sides. I went for this design as I wanted increased stability with the stacking of the units in the room.

Building 4x 1.3m units. It perfectly handles 26x 50mm boards
I have wrapped the one already but will take more pictures with actual camera as I finish the others up.
