I got this yesterday from a neighbor who was clearing her dad's cupboards.
He is from Bulawayo but settled in SA many years ago.
The pic does not do it justice as I find it a "Handsome" radio, it is huge and weighs quite a bit, even without the batteries.
Busy making up a power cable for it. Similar to a figure 8 chord but just square.
Notes: BC/MW, VHF-FM and 8 shortwave bands
SW bandspread 11,13,16,19, 25 and 31 metres.
VHF-FM 87,6 to 107,9 MHz with five preset stations.
