Hey guys, hope someone can help shed some light on the following problem:
So I have 5.1 setup which consists of a Yamaha AVR , Bentley Acoustics and Polk Audio sub. Visuals are supplied by a LG 65" TV. So when I play content from my Blu-ray player I get the whole 5.1 surround effect and all, now when I switch source and play content from a streaming service like Netflix ( I use the TV's built in app connected via ARC to the reciever) that effect is somewhat not there.
It is very faint and barely audible even if I turn up the volume on the surround speakers.
All settings on both the avr and TV have been set correctly. Now, do I need to get a media box to solve this? Will the box give out a true 5.1 (surround) effect ? Is there anyone here that is
experiences or has experienced the same thing?
Thanks for the responses in advance
