Looking for suggestions. We have a difficult living room in which we have our HT set up. Currently we have a set of floorstanders doing surround duties at the moment, marked in the attached pic.
My question is: Their current position feels/sounds as if they are too near to ones ear. They are toed away from ones ear, almost pointing to the LCD TV. Where would one be able to move them, or replace them for something that can go against the wall? I have to possible places marked in red and orange on the pic.
The orange would be high up almost against the ceiling if I would buy smaller speakers for rear duty. The red can go against the wall, ear height.
The couch won't be able to move much more forward as is. There is about 50cm space between rear wall and couch, and the rear surrounds are almost touching the couch.
Suggestions please.
