I have a question around trying to achieve this with my existing system.
I have a Denon 4200w that is feeding a Rotel 1075 power amp. This is then wired using all 4 channels into 2 floor standers.
My subs are running off the 4200w
Question:
If I get an stereo integrated rotel amp where I can plug all stereo sources like a CDP into, can I then run a pre out to the SURROUND pre in on the 1075?
In this way, if I need HTM, then the Denon 4200 can feed signal to the FRONT (L/R) on the 1075 and the integrated can feed the SURROUND pre in on the same amp for a stereo application and obviously not at the same time .
Note: My floorstanders will remain wired to the 1075. The subs will only work on HTM through the 4200w
Can this work?
