I have gotten hold of a rather nice-looking media computer, which I'm in the process of putting together. It is this little animal: http://global.shuttle.com/products/productsSpec?productId=77. It is old-ish, but I'm hopeful of being able to convert it to a modern media player.  I have installed 2G of RAM and Celeron D processor. It currently has an 80G HDD and an LG BD writer optical drive. I have plans to transfer the Asus EAH 5450 graphics card from my microserver to this computer. At present, it has Windows 2000 Pro installed.

Will it work, though? Will this hardware support the playback of HD movies and Bluray discs? What is the latest/best operating system I should be using?

I want to stream video and audio over the network from my microservers. This unit has a gigabit port, and I also have a gigabit switch.

Some advise, please! :help:
