So I'm tired of pottering down to Builders Slackhouse to get my timber cut completely wrong most of the time and paying R5 a cut.
I reckon best would be to cough up 2 or 3K for a table with a saw and take it from there.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the best brand/model/make/etc and if 2nd hand is a good idea or not? I know most power tools can be refurbed with a brush replacement or chuck, gear, woteva it needs for a relatively low price.
I'm actually looking for 2 items, table saw and a bench lathe for metal.
