G'day all.
I am new to this forum game - took me long enough to get here - but need some advice. I have a Talisman Sapphire MC that has given me many years of faithful service. Unfortunately it is now very tired. Is it worthwhile sending it off for a refurbishment and re tipping, or should I rather look for something new? This cartridge was so darned good on both my CJ Walker 55/Grace 707 (preferred source) and LP12/Akito turntables. At this stage I don't know where to find out prices for the refurb/tipping of the Talisman. Anyone have some pointers? The CJ Walker is presently under refurbishment and I have replaced the Linn with a Sota Comet/S-251 turntable.
