Tell the truth, I have never been a great technical spec junkie.
Some manufacturers, reviewers, salespeople and enthusiasts can go on a ramp about certain products and the incredible fine measurements and specifications.
Over the years I have always trusted my ears when it came to listening to audio equipment and tried not to get carried away to much about the technical specifications.
In the early 80's when I got into the whole audio thing, one of the finest amps I heard was a Krell KSA50. Just blew my mind.
Quite surprised when I stumbled across this, and Dan making mention of the KSA50.

Your take on Specifications on audio equipment.
Do you first check out the specs before even contemplating listening to a piece of gear?
Or do you trust your ears enough to be the final judge?
