I am having trouble with the arm functions of a Technics SL 1700MkII. I have checked and changed the belt but the motor does not move.... I have checked the motor by applying 9v of DC and it definitely does turn... If I press any of the knobs like the lift/lower and measure across the motor I get zero voltage. I can only assume then that something is wrong with the arm control board? Anyone have any other ideas I can try?
