My dad has an old Technics SU-V6X amp, he bought a pair of Quad 21Ls this weekend and before buying a brand new Stereo Amp we want to give the Quads a go on the old boy. What we would like to know is: where can one get an amp serviced? Particularity in the Cape Town area?
Would the amp be able to drive the Quads properly (it is rated 100W/ch), or would it just be better to go and buy a new amp?
