I have only just discovered this forum and I am hoping that you will be able to help. We are planning a renovation for early next year and I will be taking the opportunity to upgrade my system [TV, AV receiver and speakers]. Whilst the girlfriend needs me to be senistive to aesthetics, we don't want to compromise too much on quality.
I have done tons of reading on websites, see some things that sound great but invariably get quite frustrated that I am not able to find a decent spot to audition all this new technology. I live in Cape Town and aside from Audiovision [who have been fairly useless], there do not appear to be too many spots with a set up to allow you to try and WATCH/LISTEN to various options.
Any ideas?
