okay so today i went to a braai at a friend of a friends house, and as im sitting there enjoying some chop and dop i notice that the host has a marantz cd player connected to a nad power amp using the headphone output, no pre amp. all he did was take a cheap 3.5 mm to 2 rca cable out the cd players headphone output and plugged it into the nad power amp, will this really work? or is he likely to blow up his system? i wasnt sure, and didnt want to kak the oke out if what he is doing actually works.
