So about three years ago I had to replace the indicator/lights 'stick' because a contact had gone faulty and the thing was getting rather unnervingly hot when in use for the lights. Now in the past year I have noticed certain things that it is 'responsible' for, failing: First the buzzer alert for open door while lights are on failed. Then the dashboard lights failed. Then in the past two months the right front indicator failed. Went to mechanic, globe fine, we thought it just a loose connection by the globe, fiddled a bit and it seemed to come right. Lasted about week then failed again. Then left front indicator went same way. Then I noticed to my dismay then when I turn my lights on, only the front headlights come on, not the rear ones. Oh yay.
Brake lights work 100%
Reverse light works 100%
Side and rear indicator lights work 100%
All globes are 100%
All fuses 100%
My thinking is that the indicator/light switch has gone faulty and needs to replaced. I really don't have the money to go to an auto electrician for them to fiddle around at a couple hundred bucks an hour...
