I think I understand the original reason why the "minimum of 50 posts or else you may not sell an item on ye forum" rule was established, but is it not counterproductive? :sh1tstirrer:
I mean, I'm a man of few words so I would need to go on and on, droning on about this and that as well as the most recent quantum physics particles discovered :teach: which has no relevance to the forum subject matter boring my fellow inmates to tears before I reach 50! Posts I mean, not age. :stop:
On the other hand if I wanted to sell my stuff I would rather sell it here to a good bunch of guys at a discount to market value than on gumtree where I could get a bunch of randoms knocking at my door! :flame:
So in my case I would need to advertise elsewhere and then this might later be picked up by the "heads up" folk and reported here anyway!
So who is this rule trying to benefit? :nfi:
BTW I have nothing to sell!
