When load shedding started again, I asked myself how much am I prepared to spend to not endure any load shedding inconvenience. I thought R100 a fair price... so I started recording shedding events and Eskom has shed me 40 times since I put together my setup. My outlay was R10K and the cost per shedding event is coming down every time I am shed, currently at R250/shedding. That's the approx bill of two people's dinner at Spur... not too bad... getting closer to my target of R100. :thinking:
