For those of you who don't yet have a copy of July 2007 AVSA this would be a good time get it. Apart from the topic I am going to dabble in, there is a very entertaining verbal tussle between two readers in the letters section. I am actually thinking of contacting them via AVSA and inviting them onto the forum to continue their debate.

However, back to the topic at hand. The whole 'FLAME WAR' of cabling rears its ugly head again and forum members have (in jest) been targeted and labelled the 'anti cable brigade'  ;D ;D ;D (I will happily assume command of that role).

The following extract is from a review of an interconnect that costs, wait for it, R4000.00 for a 1m terminated RCA interconnect

48V batteries, anodes, cathodes, directional cables and all this for an interconnect ???

The moral of the story is that the reviewer LOVES them and swears by the technology and basically takes a swipe at us, the 'anti cable brigade'  ;D ;D

Your thoughts, PLEASE

Skinny (wooden spoon in hans, ready to stir  ;) :D )
