stir it up with canvas bag

got these handed to me today, not a fan of on ear headphones (they tend to give me headaches and generally irritate me), but they both pretty comfy (the redemption being abit vice like). build quality is bloody incredible (no plastic at all, nice braided cable, wood, very nice leather and aluminum plus the nice canvas bag).

sound wise the redemption seem to be the more attacking of the two (could be due to the stronger clamp on my pip) but they remain very enjoyable (absolutely great with some old school rock n roll, reggae and abit of hip hop). the bass is not nearly as over the top as the beats solos or studios but it remains the more dominant of the frequencies you will hear.

the stir it up models remind me of the B&W p5's in sound and build (not nearly as refined in the low end though). i would not describe these as better than the p5's, the B&W' win hands down, but they should given the price difference (almost double the price).

so far it seems these are great portable headphones for my ipod and cellphone (not sure i will get used to the on ear design though ), they very forgiving of less than perfect recordings but can still reward you for giving them better quality stuff (reference phones these are not, not that they claim to be)
