Caught this 'bad boy' in the week on my way home.
This time of year Cape Cobras are most active and with the dry winter we had(still ?200mm short of last year's rainfall), they'll come more into contact with humans, often entering houses in search of food and water.
Two years ago I got a nice one in my office.
This one was ?1.0m in length, a bit small, we get some seriously big ones easily reaching 1.7m. But he was very chilled and didn't scramble too much when I picked him up to take a better shot on the road.
