The post below from (http://www.avforums.co.za/index.php/topic,38788.0.html) got me wondering... How about a gear list of keepers. The items you never want to sell. The ones you regret selling, the keepers.

I know exactly what I want from a system and that is musical enjoyment ...
I do not nit pick I do not seek perfection, no such thing, everything is a compromise ...
It has been a bit of a journey to arrive at what I am happy with...
I researched, read reviews, trawled the forums, found guys who talked sense, guys who had affordable equipment that had no wish to change or had regretted selling. There is some equipment surprisingly the same stuff, that the majority of guys really hang on to.

I built my system along these lines and have never been happier.
