My 'me too' moment:

2 strings of 9 x 545W Jinko Panels. One NE facing the other NW facing. Care was taken to eliminate shading, Each string is fairly close to the limit of an MPPT on the synsynk 8kw inverter

2 x 8kw Synsynk inverters. 5 x 6.4kWh BSL batteries in home made cabinets with provision for max 8 batteries. As per pics above, only 2 strings currently, but all the provisioning was put in to run 4 strings and the wiring to another section of roof was also put in so the 3rd string could be fitted in short order if required (thinking was extra capacity for a plug in hybrid or electric car in the future). Apart from a gas braai, everything is electric in the house incl 3x heat pump geysers. As long as the sun is out, generally meets our 1000-1200kWh/month requirement.
