The Revival of a Thorens TD125 Turntable That's Been Hived Away

I wish to put back into service my Thorens TD125 turntable, mothballed c. 10 years along with all my audio equipment. It is in excellent nick still, and up to that point it was used regularly.

Clearly, the turntable needs to be serviced before it is to be put through its paces again. Please advise me of the best course of action to take as far as:

• 1. Self-servicing: Guides? Tips?
  2. Outsourcing the service: to a skilled forum member- Pretoria, or elsewhere in Gauteng? Contact details highly appreciated.
