?Oceanos - Deep Quest?
This was the last major television documentary I did. It was a full 60 minute production about the first successful deep diving expedition to the wreck of the passenger liner, Oceanos, which sank in 1991 just off Hole-in-the-Wall on SA?s Wild Coast. Several previous expeditions had failed to reach the wreck and Oceanos was considered to be undiveable.
This production - completed in 2005 - was distributed by Canamedia (in Canada) and enjoyed 80 broadcasts on PBS in the US. I wrote, directed, edited and produced this documentary and also narrated it. The entire production, including most of the underwater scenes, was filmed by me.
