So I spend the weekend with my folks and siblings in Cape Town and surrounds.
Came back with a very neat SPL Phonitor and some vintage Sennheiser HD540 Reference Gold cans needing a bit of TLC. Also got persuaded by Kane's ad for the HD800's plus stand, but we could not meet in person (and it would not fit in my luggage in any case) so that will be coming up by courier. Looking forward to some serious listening in days and weeks to come.
Good thing this was a family weekend and I did not plan to do any shopping!
