You just have to respect and admire those pieces of hifi gear built to last a lifetime, you don't see such good quality as much these days and if you do you'll pay some serious cash for it.. This is my 3rd Theta Dac and once again I'm blown away buy the build quality inside and out.
What is it with the owners of Theta gear, I've yet to see one that was abused, Theta owners generally look after there stuff, [member=527]Gramaphone[/member] comes to mind
I've bought two Theta Dacs from him in the past and both units were immaculate.
This unit is 26 years old yet it looks new inside.
