) We are all involved in a terribly addictive hobby! As soon as I have done an upgrade and am happy with the results, I start looking for something else to improve without breaking the bank(and annoying the missus even further!)
Which brings me to a toy that has captured my attention, external DACs! I have done a search and found a number of references to them, but mostly overseas(and EXPENSIVE!)
Except for Benchmark(distributed by Audiotweak) which other DACs are available in South Africa? I have seen some DAC kits on the Internet as well, but it would have been nice to have local suppliers.
