I am getting an Iphone...i want to run OBDII software for my car. I dont want to jailbreak my phone in case something goes wrong, so saw this

has anybody who has an iphone (not an android) got similar and got it working?
its very exp - R2500 from the states - nobody sells that here locally.
i wanted to get the Ecoroute for Garmin for my gps but that is R1700 and once gps is replaced in 3 years - i probably can use anymore - so makes sense to go for the iphone adapter...
