I have no idea what rules apply in SA but i suspect that many electric/electronic products on Your market too carries the CE marking, confirming that it is compliant with the the European standards regarding emittance of (both air borne and wire borne) and imunity to the same kind of electrical disturbances.
All good and well, this has forced manufacturers to design better power supplies, even thou most SMPS are still pure junk in this perspective.
But what I don?t understand is the fact that guitar amps also are sold with the CE marking, I have allways thought that the purpose of an electric guitar and amp is to create disturbance, to annoy and place a sharp boot toe in the exhaust of a stupid politician?
