So far I have done Step 2, 4 (cork mat) and 5. There are definitely audible differences and I agree with the findings in the article. So I would say worthwhile and cheap upgrades. Step 3, the new pulley is unfortunately rather expensive (please pm me if you know where I can get one locally).
I have also (finally) managed to get the table perfectly level, which obviously makes a big difference. I will upload some photos over the weekend.
The table as it stands is a Thorens TD125, with RB301 (incognito wiring and origin live weight), Audio Technica AT95 cart (I know....the weekness, but a good cart at the price).
