Thought I share this as I believe there might be someone out there with the same dilemma.
- When I mounted my speakers on the stands, I had the option of "piercing" them from underneath from the spikes that comes with the stands to ensure the speakers do not move freely on top of the stand.
- The problem with piercing is that it leaves marks underneath the speaker which can be untoward when re-selling the speakers.
Here's the tip
Initially I thought of a non-slip rubber/silicone mat. I could not find any that fitted my requirements.
I bought heavy kilograms VELCRO pieces from Builders. They are just R290 for about 6 pieces (size of the old R1 coin with an Impala on it).
You do find the cheaper ones which are for 2kgs weight which i don't think will be sufficient for this purpose. They are sold at R140.
