I currently have a dedicated stereo system consisting of the following:
Sota Moonbeam TT
NAD C352 stereo amp
NAD C542 CDP
Maverick audio Tube magic DAC
Mede8er 250 for Flac
Rotel RC1070 Pre amp
Mission MX5's speakers
The way it is currently setup is:
CPD directly to the amp
Mede8er to the Maverick Audio DAC, then to the amp
Sota Moonbeam to Rotel for phono stage, then to amp
Ipad to amp
My question, would there be any benifits/better sound/staging if everything went into the Rotel pre first, then to the NAD?
or is it the old saying of the path of least resistance?
