Maybe its just me, but I seem unable to find a good one. The stock Eveready's are generally just not powerful enough. Maglite's: tried them all -mini's, maxi's, exchanged the quaint little spare globe at the back etc etc etc. The casing looks beautiful but the torch is crap. Thought I've found the the answer with my new LED Lenzer (Professional nogal ) just to have it flicker and die on me after a year.
As far as money goes I prefer to spend mine on hifi and not flashlights. However, it seems to find a good torch you'd have to be prepared to go R 1000 and up?
