So... porting my number from Nashua Mobile contract (MTN) to Cell C.
How hard could it be?
I signed the forms about 2 weeks before porting- and the Cell C sales guy walked across the way (Pavilion) to Nashua Mobile to check all was ok.
He did the same yesterday, when it was D Day. All was well apparently.
No joy. Apparently (says Nashua) my contract number and id number are incorrect, and I am on a corporate contract (not) and won't authorise the port.
Cell C okey has to resubmit. I have to wait.
Also Mr Cell C told me yesterday to wait "a couple of hours"- not the 24 hours the tech department told me when I called Cell C later.
From 1 bunch of monkeys to the next...
