Transformer voltage noob question

I recently bought a 30V-0-30V  transformer to connect to an amp module requiring 30V AC. However, when I tested the tranny, the voltage reading I have on both sets of wires are 32.5V AC.

1. Is this normal for transformers to have a voltage variance from specifications?

2. Can I connect it as it is, to my amp module?
