Traveling from JHB to CPT in decemeber

So the plan is to drive down early morning of Mon the 17th , stay over in beaufort west and then arrive in CPT on Tue the 18th. Trying to split the trip into 1000/500 km chunks and also to travel when the roads are not too busy.

Sound like a good idea?

1st road trip with kids (4 and 2) so this is gonna be fun and games
