With some mixed results. I used river sand and cement to get a semi rough surface as its the outside patio. Some sections look perfect but others are crumbling horribly... See link below.

I thought i did my homework.. Didn't use too much water, wet the concrete underneath. Compacted it heavily. Started wetting it periodically after it was down and floated.
So.. What'd i do wrong, maybe because yesterday was quite hot, it affected it and it dried too quickly? Can i just dig up these patches and redo them??
