My Trio has been acting up recently. Warms up nicely and after a while (10 minutes) the left channel starts crackling. I suspect its one of the valves that have given up or is on its way out. Which ones should I start replacing and which ones can I leave for later (i.e. radio valves)? I will open her up this weekend and make sure that all the other internals are fine. Other than a valve tester - is there a way to tell which valves may not be working as intended?
The list of valves is as follows:
5AR4: 1
6BM8: 4
6AL5: 1
6AQ8: 2
6AU6: 1
6BA6: 3
6BE6: 2
6DA5/EM81: 2
12AX7: 3
OA79: 1
