I listened to all Trumps speeches while he was campaigning . He spoke of peace, making America great again, America not being the worlds policeman. Making friends with Russia. Power back to the people ect. I thought that at long last we would be working towards world peace, due to this, I supported him, but no more.He becomes president and does the exact opposite of what he says he intended to do. This made me do some thinking. Democracy is rule by the people. So Trumps voters vote for him due to what he promises to do. He then does the opposite. How can this be democratic? A President represents his voters. You can't have the whole country ruling by themselves, it would be chaotic, so a government gets elected to do the job. This government must execute the will of the people, after all the people put them there to do just that. This is democracy. But then the President does just the opposite to what the people put him in power to do. This is absolutely undemocratic. When Presidents don't do what voters put them into power to do, they should be impeached. Democracy is seen to be a farce
