If it was fine the issue is obviously something at home. If the tonearm cord from the turntable is fitted with plugs you can open, check that there is no break or bad joint in the wire connections in the RCA plugs itself, and that you don't have fraying wires touching things all over. When playing a record gently jiggle the tonearm wire where it exits the arm and listen if anything changes or gets worse. Don't overdo this and mess up a good wire though!</p></blockquote><p></p>
