I'm looking at buying a turntable, but need some advice first.
I've heard of moving magnet and moving coil cartridges and understand there is a difference between them.
Must the amp I'm planning to use be compatible with whichever type the turntable has, or does this not matter?
The deck I'm looking at has a MM cartridge.
Amp will be a SONY 5400 ES which does have a phono input.
