Turntable Vinyl Question in the digital section - scandalous

Someone has brought me a turntable that they want a phono stage built in and then to top that they want a USB out.

Phono stage is easy to figure out. How difficult is it to now take the line level out and convert it to USB input?

Google is my friend  :???: but I can only find lots of DIY boards that do the opposite (USB ----> Analogue out) but none that got the other way...
