My beloved Samsung PDP made a mildly terrifying sparking-like noise when I tried to turn it on this Friday... I'm rather reluctant to just write it off and go on an OLED shopping spree. I spoke with the official Samsung repairs provider on the phone and neither that, nor the reviews of the place, fill me with confidence. Does anyone have a recommendation for a trustworthy repair shop that might be worth taking it to? Are these things even repairable?
Somewhere closer to town / southern suburbs would be preferable but the main goal is to find a solid service provider, convenience comes after. (Sadly the TV doesn't fit in either of our vehicles in its original packaging so that's going to be fun... not.) Anyhoo, any advice would be most welcome
