This may have been discussed before...
Ulrasonic cleaners supposidly cleans records very well but are expensive and hard to obtain locally (as far as I know).
Would it be possible to DIY? Thermostatted ultrasonic baths that can accomidate an LP are between R6000 and R12000, depending on size. All that would aditionally needed would be a mechanism to rotate the LP in the bath. The cleaned LP could then be air-dried or vacuumed dry using a regular record cleaner.
Am I over-simplifying this or is it something that one could quite easily do?
