Does anyone have any idea which cartridge model this might be? The stylus is obviously generic, "E" probably stands for "Elliptical". Broken off anyway.
Apparently, Ortofon cartridges are distinguishable by the shape of the plastic shank (?) on the stylus that fits into the cart - this one is "H" shape, if that helps?
Inspired by Mafioso and Rudi, I was thinking of experimenting with wood-body, but if it's a entry-level cart - is it worth it? It seems that disassembly will be dead easy, judging by those bent tabs that join the cart and the mounting plate.
Recommendations for the new stylus - which type, where from?
