Guys, as you might have seen in my other started thread. My brother died. We want to look at his last few messages, emails. Problem is the battery was flat so after charging ND switching on, we need a pin. My father took the phone to MTN which was his network. They said it's impossible without erasing data?
Is there really no way? We can see there were a few whatsapp messenges and mails are still coming trhrough. We cannot even stop the morning alarm on the phone. I do realise there are secuity concerns but if a son's father himself takes a death certificate to the cellphone companies, there should not really be security or privacy issues? There must be a way as how do police get messages even if deleted if someone gets investigated?
